Starch-containing corn reagent

Starch-containing corn reagent TM MealWorld – cold swelling starch, which is used in foundry production as a technological additive to sand-clay molding mixtures for the production of castings in raw forms and in drilling wells technologies.

In foundry production:

Casting method. 3 bunkers are being prepared: with sand, with clay and with corn mix starch (our reagent). The operator mixes all three components in the required proportion into one ready-made mixture, from which the form is then made.
Liquid metal is poured into the prepared form, the form is closed. Metal releases gases when cooled from such high temperatures (in a liquid state). Clay and sand do not pass gases to the outside. Starch corn mix (our reagent) is added to release gas.
That is, the main property of starch corn mix (reagent) is the release of gases during the melting of metal forms.

When drilling wells:

Starch corn mix is added to the mixture for drilling wells. The main component is a specific clay – bentonite. Starch corn mix is added to increase the stickiness of the finished mixture, so that this mixture better holds the well column when passing water and voids.
